I have read both Jochen von Lang's book (very good book) as well as "The Bormann Letters". The letters were published by Francois Genoud, a Swiss with Nazi sympathies. The letters do seem to indicate a couple who were "on the same page" ideologically, and von Lang also confirms this more than once in his book.
